The course is intended to develop in a student the competence to plan, apply and monitor public relations and communication activities in a variety of contexts.
Develop students’ appreciation of the developments and challenges in business especially the tourism and hospitality industry; enhance students’ understanding of the roles and significance of various participants within the tourism system and hospitality sector in tourism destinations.
Demonstrate necessary skills to: Become public relations practitioners. These include: researching how people feel about a company, how management would like the public to see the company, planning an exhibition or special event, making a speech, editing a house journal, taking photographs, developing a media strategy, writing a press release, organizing a conference, making a corporate video, or managing a consultancy
