The course explores collaborative design and multidisciplinary integration of architecture, landscape architecture, graphic design, audiovisual engineering, digital media, lighting and interior design. It evolves a range of technologies and techniques to demonstrate a unique experience that attracts diverse audience to appreciate the message embedded. Students will learn to design innovative display and merchandising solutions.
The aim is to help students understand the aesthetic and creative process of design through the conceptualization and creation of interior and exhibition spaces; and gain a strong grounding in spatial relationships, and develop a sensitive and appropriate response to human behaviour.
Students demonstrate application of the principles of design and design theories in the conceptualization and creation of interior and exhibition spaces; acquire skills to design creative and innovative display solutions and experiences.
